Business Training Leader Brings World-Renowned Techniques to the Federal World

NEW YORK, NY (July 27, 2010) - Dale Carnegie TrainingŪ, the international leader in performance-based workforce training and solutions, is pleased to announce High Impact Leadership: Building Tomorrow's Leaders Today! A first for the company, this free, one-time leadership symposium will bring together a diverse group of federal leaders and managers from across the nation to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by today's federal agencies.

Scheduled to take place at 9:00 am EST on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the U.S. Navy Memorial in Washington D.C., the workshop welcomes all current and emerging leaders responsible for developing leadership capacity in their various organizations. The leadership symposium is co-sponsored by Herdt Consulting, Inc., a service-disabled veteran-owned small business offering specialized consulting services in areas such as human resources management, organizational behavior and design, training and leadership development.

High Impact Leadership: Building Tomorrow's Leaders Today! will be led by keynote speaker Ted Childs of Ted ChildsŪ, LLC, an award-winning strategic diversity advisor and thought leader. In addition, the leadership symposium will feature a distinguished panel comprised of Frank McCloskey, Vice President of Diversity, Georgia Power, Jeri L. Buchholz, Associate Director for HR Programs & Policy, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and Kevin J. Sensenig, Ph.D., RODP, Global Vice President of Organizational Development, Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc.
